2 kids, mom and dad, and Realtor walk into a home for an inspection. Moms hands are full with the littlest one, so I occupy the 7 year old, while dad and the inspector walk around "inspecting" things. We had so much fun spinning in chairs while playing I Spy. I Spy is such an interesting game. There are literally thousands of possibilities for answers. He was beating me. This kid was good. I had to up my game. So I searched and searched, and I found the most perfect thing to spy. I said, "I spy with my little eyes something brown." He was guessing a mile a minute. Every wrong answer made him guess even more quickly. He. Was. Stumped.
You could see it though. You could see the moment he knew he had won again. The smugness of a winning 7 year old is a face everyone knows. He looks at me and smiles, and says "You?" He said it with total confidence as if he had won the biggest prize ever. He knew he was king of I Spy. He knew he had won every round.
Of course moms face is now beet read. She begins apologizing and I lay back on the carpet and laugh, and laugh, and laugh.
Get an inspection. It could lead to you totally knowing its the ABSOLUTE WRONG house to buy, or you could leave with a stomach pains from laughing so hard.
